Sub-Acute Rehabilitation at the Skilled
Medical Rehabilitation Center

Designed to treat individuals 16 years of age and older with brain and neurologic
injuries who are no longer in need of acute hospital care, but continue to be
medically dependent.
Able to provide skilled medical care including:
- Coma intervention
- Ventilator care
- Tracheostomy care
- Wound care
- Continuous tube feedings
- Continuous intravenous drip

The foundation of our continuum of care since its inception in 1992.
- A unique and specialized approach to evaluation and treatment of
medically stable, Rancho los Amigo level IV and above individuals.
- Unique treatment environments designed to meet the individual
needs of clients served.
Our Program has the expertise, resources, and experience required to
accurately diagnose and treat the most complex manifestations of
neurologic impairment and dual diagnoses.

Pediatric Post-Acute Rehabilitation and Accredited
Education Program at the Florida Institute for
Neurologic Rehabilitation, Inc. (FINR)
A family-centered approach to rehabilitation.
- Evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents ages 4 to 17.
- Designed to help children successfully re-integrate into the family,
home school district or alternative discharge setting.
Educational Program accredited by the National Council for Private School
Accreditation (NCPSA) in consort with Association of Independent Schools of Florida (AISF).
